The GSODA Junior Players conducts a Musical Theatre Workshop program each year for children interested in joining the GSODA Junior Players.
This is an opportunity for young performers aged 10-13 years, to learn the three disciplines of musical theatre: acting, singing and dance.
GSODA Workshop provides basic theatre skills, a fun learning environment with industry professionals and firsthand experience of the commitment and work required to create a musical theatre production. Upon conclusion each year, Workshop participants are invited to audition for the main company, GSODA Junior Players.
The workshop runs for four school terms and culminates in an annual performance piece in term 4.
